C. MAISON HEIDELBERG

Maison consistently ranks as one of Mississippi’s top-rated litigators, in peer publications such as Mid-South Super Lawyers and The Best Lawyers in America. He was selected as a member of the American Board of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Maison has taken over 100 trials to verdict, in state and federal courts. He has handled cases in 77 of Mississippi’s 82 counties, and represented clients in a range of general and commercial litigation throughout the Southeast. Maison has also served as appellate counsel on more than 170 published decisions.

In 1993, Maison graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University School of Law, where he was selected for Order of the Coif and served as Senior Student Writing Editor for the Vanderbilt Law Review. After graduation, Maison clerked for Judge Edward B. Davis, United States District Court, Southern District of Florida (Miami Division). He has been in private practice in Jackson, Mississippi, since 1994. Maison is admitted to practice in all Mississippi courts, the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi.

Maison was selected to assist in drafting the Model Jury Instructions for the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He served as Chairman of the Magistrate Judge Merit Selection Panel for the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District.

Maison is a summa cum laude graduate of Mississippi State University, where he was elected to the Hall of Fame upon graduation in 1989. A lifelong Mississippi resident, Maison and his wife Carol reside in Madison County.
