TRESA PATTERSON

Tresa Patterson’s litigation practice includes family law matters, commercial disputes, and medical malpractice defense. She practices throughout Mississippi, in both state and federal courts. Tresa has tried divorce, custody, support, contract, and negligence cases in over fifteen Mississippi counties. She is proficient in premarital and marital contract negotiation, as well as conflict resolution through mediation and arbitration. Tresa approaches every case with a focus on her client’s objectives and emphasizes practical, efficient solutions.

Born in Jackson, Mississippi, Tresa graduated with honors from the University of Virginia. After college, she worked as a reporter for The Los Angeles Times and a high school teacher. She graduated cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where she served as executive editor of the Mississippi Law Journal.

Tresa has been recognized as a “Rising Star” in the area of family law, and has published articles on state evidentiary rules, escalation clauses, and mediated dispute. Tresa lives in Madison County with her husband Eric Patterson and three children.
