CHADWICK M. WELCH

Chad Welch represents individual and institutional clients in complex civil and commercial litigation. An experienced litigator with significant trial experience, Mr. Welch has represented plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of cases in federal and state courts around the country, including cases arising under the False Claims Act and claims alleging breaches of contract and fraud.

Following law school, Mr. Welch clerked for the Hon. Rhesa Hawkins Barksdale on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, worked at a large international law firm, and served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Columbia.

Prior to law school, Mr. Welch served as an infantry officer in the United States Army and as a paramilitary operations officer in the Central Intelligence Agency. Mr. Welch was an honor graduate of the United States Army Ranger School, completed combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, and is a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal. In his personal time, Mr. Welch is an avid skydiver and enjoys mountain biking and triathlon.
